Volunteer with Sydney Uni SFC
Throughout our history, our club has been privileged to benefit from dedicated volunteers who bring diverse knowledge, skills, and talents, all vital to our success. Each volunteer shares a deep connection to our club, aligned with our vision and mission, and commits their time and expertise to ensure our ongoing achievements. We are grateful and proud to have parents, friends, soccer enthusiasts, tertiary students and skilled professionals committed to further elevate our club's reputation and create lasting value and impact.
Sydney Uni SFC offers open applications seeking individuals with expertise or a willingness to learn in their preferred field, with knowledge of football preferred but not essential. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, along with excellent communication skills. All volunteers must hold a current Working With Children Check.

Volunteer Coaches
Whether you're looking to gain more experience or already bring a wealth of it, as a coach, you'll lead and support team training sessions, oversee warm-ups on match days, coach during games, and provide crucial leadership to the team.
Team Managers
Elevate team performance by providing vital support to the Coach, managing player schedules, facilitating clear communication between the club and players, and ensuring smooth coordination of game day logistics.
Match Day Ground Staff
Work with a team to prepare grounds for home games on the weekend by managing the set-up, pack-up and maintaining field conditions during matches to ensure the highest standards for our players and spectators.
Event Staff
Join our event operations team and contribute your skills while gaining valuable experience in hospitality, marketing, public relations, security, or customer service.
Grant Writer
Identify appropriate grants, present them to the board, and create compelling applications aligned with our committee's priorities, leveraging your effective communication and research abilities.
Social Media Content Producers
Lead the creation of compelling content for our club, showcasing your creativity and passion for social media through writing, designing, and filming to share within our club family of followers and extended community.
Club Photographer/Videographer
Play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence by capturing moments that matter during gameday and training, helping to define the character and personality that our club embodies.
Communications & Media
Acquire valuable communication skills in PR and journalism to skilfully leverage media, content, and partnerships in shaping and promoting our club's narrative, significantly enhancing our reputation and influence.
Fundraising Manager
Experience in leading fun and engaging fundraising initiatives that align with our club's brand, involving our local community in Sydney and beyond, to help boost the club's revenue.
