NPL NSW DIV. 3 COACH (Under 20’s)

Sydney University are looking to recruit an ambitious coach to work with our under 20’s squad for the upcoming 2020 season. The Club finished in 2nd place in both the under 18 and 20 competitions this season and continually have success in developing young players. We require a coach that can prepare the players for 1st grade competition in the future as our senior squad is inevitably young due to our student-based structure. NB: you don’t have to be a student to play for Sydney University SFC.

Our fully integrated and age specific player development program incorporates a full range of expert support services including strength and conditioning coaches, dieticians, sports psychologists, physiotherapists & education/career advisors. Our facilities are second to none amongst all NPL NSW clubs. Furthermore, our well-established Elite Athlete and Scholarship Program, provides our players with the resources to reach their full potential on and off the field.

NPL 2 YOUTH COACHING POSITIONS x 2 

Sydney University SFC are currently looking for 2 coaches to expand our coaching staff for the upcoming 2020 season. As an SUSFC coach, you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills in an already ambitious & successful program. SUSFC will provide you the chance to establish yourself by providing the platform to grow and succeed within a good coaching environment.

Your job as a coach at SUSFC will be to develop players using the FFA National Curriculum and build a skilful, committed and ultimately successful team that embodies the spirit and passion of the greater University community. Furthermore, the club will also require you to focus your energies on assisting with the development of the individual players, the game changers and the ones that can make a difference.

Sydney University SFC teams compete in the NSW NPL Division 2 competition and are looking to build on their 2019 success.  The Club are keen to build teams capable of promotion to NPL Div. 1. Craig Sharpley is the BYL technical director, he is a great asset for the playing group and an equally great resource for the coaching staff to work alongside.

NPL 2 YOUTH ASSISTANT COACHING POSITIONS x 2

Sydney University SFC are currently looking for 2 assistant coaches to expand our coaching staff for upcoming 2020 NSW NPL 2 season. As an SUSFC coach you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills in an already ambitious & successful program. SUSFC will provide you the chance to establish yourself by providing the platform to grow and succeed within a good coaching environment with plenty of room for advancement.

Your job as an assistant coach at SUSFC will be to work alongside and support the head coach in developing our players using the FFA National Curriculum. Sydney University SFC teams compete in the NSW NPL Div. 2 competition and are looking to build four competitive teams as we push for promotion in the upcoming season. Furthermore, the club will also require you to focus your energies on assisting with the development of the individual players, the game changers and the ones that can make a difference in today’s game. 

FFA coaching qualification or equivalent is essential; a C-License Youth is the minimum coaching requirement for any of these positions.

Sydney University SFC is currently looking for highly motivated and qualified coaches for the 2020 season to join our rapidly growing junior & senior Women’s National Premier League Program. 

Our fully integrated and age specific player development program incorporates a full range of expert support services including strength and conditioning coaches, dieticians, sports psychologists, physiotherapists & education/career advisors. Furthermore, our well-established Elite Athlete and Scholarship Program, provides our players with the resources to reach their full potential on and off the field.

Your job as a coach at SUSFC will be to work in a team environment developing players using the FFA National Curriculum and building a skilful, committed and ultimately successful group of players that embodies the style of play, spirit and passion that Sydney University SFC demands. Furthermore, the club will also require you to focus your energies on developing the individual player, the game changers and the ones that can make a difference as we look to develop our players to achieve the highest possible standard of football they can. 

Sydney University SFC teams compete in the NSW NPL Division 1 competition and the women’s program play and train on Campus at their ‘State of the Art’ facility. The Club are looking to build off the back to back of their 2018 and 2019 successes.

FFA coaching qualification or equivalent is essential; a C-License is the minimum coaching requirement for any of these positions. Proven expertise in match day coaching, player development and program execution within a team environment will be held in high regard.

SAP TEAM COACHES

As a Sydney University SFC coach you will be given the opportunity to grow & develop your skills & those of your players within the overlapping environments of Australia’s Premier Sporting University & its largest sporting club. Your job as a coach at SUSFC will be to develop players using the FFA National Curriculum and build a skilful, committed and ultimately successful group of young players who can advance to the next stage of their development. Furthermore, the club will also require you to focus your energies on developing the individual player, the game changers and the ones that can make a difference. Our mixed SAP program is headed by technical director Tom Engesser. He is a very experienced youth coach/educator and will assist you in your development as a team coach. Our girls SAP program is also very successful as proven by the success of the girls that come through our system and go onto play in our NPL NSW Div. 1 girls’ teams. Both programs will provide you with a great opportunity to expand your abilities as a coach and provide you a great pathway on your coaching journey.

VIDEO ANALYSTS

Sydney University SFC is looking for a couple of football enthusiasts keen on working in the sporting arena with our club’s NPL elite squads in the field of video analysis. The role will consist of the taping of some training sessions but all matches and the analysis of the matches to the requirements of the head coaching staff. Additional training will be provided by Sportscode and Hudl. CLUB INTERNS

Sydney University SFC is looking for two people with a genuine interest in football to join our club as a club intern working with our senior Women’s NPL 1 squad and/or our senior Men’s NPL 3 squad for training and match days in the upcoming 2019 season. The volunteer position will provide the successful applicant a firsthand look at the workings of a professional organisation and sporting club.

The position will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to go down either the sports administration or the coaching road and provide an opening to a more permanent paid position in the future. This could work very well for anyone focusing on either a sports management degree or a career in football coaching.
