Sydney Uni SFC
WORKING WITH CHILDREN MEMBER PROTECTION

Football NSW mandates that all technical directors, coaches, managers, referees, and other individuals in child-related roles working or volunteering with children under 18 years of age must obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC). They are also required to provide their club, association, centre, branch, or referee branch with a valid WWC number.

MEMBER PROTECTION

Volunteers

All volunteer parents and carers, including extended family members coaching or managing a child’s team require a WWCC volunteer number.

Referees

All referees require a WWCC. This is required in both volunteer or paid referee roles.

Member Protection Information Officer

In accordance with the requirements set by FNSW and the Office of the Children's Guardian, Sydney Uni SFC has appointed a Member Protection Information Officer. Their role is to uphold and promote a child-safe culture within the Club.

Persons aged under 18 years are exempt from requiring a Working with Children Check.
