Miles Downie named Futsalroos Head Coach!

Football Australia has just announced the appointment of our very own SUSFC football coach, Miles Downie, as the Head Coach of the Futsalroos! The Futsalroos are Australia’s national Futsal team who will be competing in the forthcoming Asian Football Federation Futsal Championship.

Amongst balancing other commitments such as working in Sydney University’s Elite Athlete Program, Miles is also currently working as a coach in the Club’s Skills Acquisition Program (SAP). With SAP providing opportunities for players to play and learn in small sided games, Miles’ expertise in the use of Futsal and modified playing formats for player development, is both valuable and greatly appreciated.
