ROUND 7 REVIEW – NPL NSW WOMEN’S

WNPL v Blacktown.jpg

Goals were tough to come across in round seven of the NPL NSW Women’s competition. The big games of the day ended in a way most didn’t expect.

Sydney University 0-0 Blacktown Spartans

We expected fireworks at Sydney University Football Ground between Sydney Uni and Blacktown Spartans.

The sparkle was somewhat taken out of the fixture when Tori Tumeth received her marching orders on 40 minutes.

Uni held firm though for the next 50 minutes and even created chances with a player less but to no avail.
