Round eight of the NPL NSW Women’s 1 competition gave a heap of great match ups and some intriguing results full of turn arounds.

Sydney University 4-1 Football NSW Institute

At Arlington Oval, the Football NSW Institute returned to repeat the damage they did last year against Sydney University.

They started the best way possible and shook the Champions right up, taking an early lead via Aideen Keane.

Not long after though, parity was restored as Bianca Galic found the back of the net.

Kendall Fletcher then gave them lead as they went into the half time break leading 2-1.

Galic collected her brace with another goal in the second half before new signing and former Matilda star Michelle Heyman got on the act and rounded off the result.
